From the folks who bring you Indie Night and Dallas Indie Comedy Festival, Indie Lab Creative (ILC) is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the city’s creative and comedic community. All ILC programming and events are community-forward and funded. Our goal is to foster a creative, innovative, and warm environment that welcomes a pure celebration of all things performance!

Hi, we're The Idiots! We're a group of friends and performers based in DFW. We like long walks on the beach and Little Debbie snacks.
'Idiots' may sound like a silly name, but it actually stands for Independent Dallas Improv On TuesdayS. In 2022, we started a little project called Indie Night: a quarterly special event showcasing and celebrating Dallas' vibrant comedy scene. And that show happens (you guessed it) on Tuesdays!
Since 2022, we are proud to say Indie Night has brought live, homegrown comedy to multiple iconic local theaters and featured over 180 different performers on the stage. We are incredibly grateful to the comedy community for helping us sustain this show and proving what is possible through creativity and collaboration.
The success of Indie Night inspired us to not only keep going, but do more. Earlier this year, we debuted Dallas Indie Comedy Festival: a three-day event showcasing both local and national talent. Now, we are officially Indie Lab Creative, a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit collective supporting the city's creative and comedic community through connection, support, and opportunity. As we gear up to celebrate Indie Night's 3rd Anniversary, we're also planning next year's DICF, hosting community events, and collaborating with the community to produce fresh, new shows, special events, and workshops.
